Recent changes for club and game admins. Version 2026.10.13.
High hand readable from across the room
On the casino TV the high hand now has the whole row: the cards are more than twice as big, HIGH HAND is stacked to save space, and a hand name that doesn’t fit glides back and forth instead of being cut off. The Next blinds moved under the current blinds in smaller, dimmer numbers. The clock and blinds stay the same size.
No connection warning
If a timer screen stops hearing from VikingPoker — for example when venue Wi-Fi times out — a flashing red No connection badge appears in the top-left of the header. The clock keeps counting on its own and the badge clears as soon as the connection is back.
Club stats
Every club has a public Stats page (Stats in the menu): games played, playing time, field sizes, and leaderboards for points, wins, podiums, high hands, bounties, and points per game. It also lists the best hands ever, the latest high hands, and a summary for each tournament.
Casino timer stats
Timer owners get a Stats page (Stats in the menu, or the Stats button on the Timer list): completed games per timer and in total, playing time, average and longest game, the best high hand ever with the player’s name, and who has hit the most high hands.
Pick the exact high hand when assigning points
Assign Points has a hand picker for the weekly high hand: full house, quads, straight flush, or royal, with ranks and suit. The hand is saved with the award and feeds the club’s best-hands list. The note field is still there for anything extra.
New menu look
The top menu is now a row of buttons, each marked with a card suit, and the page you’re on is highlighted. When both club and casino stats apply, Stats opens a small dropdown.
High hand name plate
On the casino timer, the high hand player’s name sits on an embossed gold plate with room to breathe from the edge of the screen. Long names are trimmed with an ellipsis.
Manage week fix
Manage week on Game Manager now opens that week’s details instead of jumping to the timer.
High hand history
Every high hand posted on the casino timer is now saved by night. The Ready screen scrolls the last three nights of high hands, and the current high hand’s name is on fire. Clear now removes the latest hand and restores the one before it.
Pricing page
A new Pricing page (in the menu and on the home page) lays out the club plans, the stand-alone Tournament Timer (first tournament free), and the Club Timer Add-On. Larger groups can send an enterprise contact request from there.
Sign up returns you where you started
If you create an account from a page such as Pricing, the email verification link brings you back to that page instead of the home page.
New voice cues
The timer now announces one minute until the break, one minute until the break ends, and when the blinds are changing, alongside the existing warnings.
Clearer break preview
When a break is coming up, the Next line reads “Next: 15 minute break”, so it isn’t mistaken for the time left until the break.
High hand button shows the player
On the phone admin timer, the High hand button shows the hand code on the left and the player’s name on the right. A five-high straight flush now displays as 5-4-3-2-A.
Smoother level changes on phones
On phones, the blinds now swap cleanly at each new level. Before, the level-change animation could leave the blinds area blank.
Timer sounds on the TV
Casino timer sound cues now play on the TV display as well as the admin phone. On a smart TV, press any button on the remote once after opening the timer URL so the browser allows audio.
Phone controls moved up
On a phone admin screen, Pause, ±1 min, Prev/Next, and High hand sit right under the level clock, so they stay on screen even on short phones.
Casino high hand on the TV
From the admin timer, record a full house, quads, straight flush, or royal. The phone button shows a compact code (AAA77, 4444). The TV shows the cards, label, and player name next to Next blinds.
Easier phone timer controls
Casino admin buttons are larger and easier to tap. Pause/Resume is full-width. Leave and Mute match the other control widths. On a laptop, Pause sits under the clocks and is bigger. Breaks on a phone just say BREAK.
Visual chips that match the blinds
New casino timers default to chips on. Stacks show up to four chips; if the amount is too large to draw, you get the biggest chip × N (5K × 20 for 100,000). Phones hide chips so the clock stays readable.
Ready screen and usage count
Start timer, Back to list, and Copy TV URL are the same size (Start stays gold). The Timer list shows how many times each structure has been used.
Casino-style Timer
Run a full-screen blind timer without a club subdomain — no registrations or points. Club Admins create structures under Timer; co-admins can help launch and control. Each structure has a short public TV URL (/t/CODE).
